Our programs are customized to fit your unique preferences and needs. Below is a sample of the types of courses we can offer, each with customization opportunities for your unique needs. Our programs are focused on creating opportunities to improve mental wellness and cope with stress in a variety of manners.
In order to make our programs as stress-free as possible, we coordinate all of the logistics and take care of all of the heavy lifting: food shopping for all the ingredients, bringing all of the materials we need for your unique food workshop, and full cleanup! All you have to do is have fun and enjoy the experience.
Individual work 1-1
If you would like to work with Cognitive Kitchen 1-1 for special skill development and training we can design a curriculum and cooking program to suit your needs. Individual work can focus on executive functioning, planning and time management, budgeting, positive social engagement through food, building routines around food, and general nourishment and nutrition.
Small Group Events
Small group events are focused primarily on positive social engagement and improving modes of communication by working as a team together to create a meal. This is a great opportunity for small companies to collaborate, families to work together on a fun task, for friends celebrating a special occasion or looking for a unique event that is outside the box.
Unique communities are groups of people who share a common purpose, experience, or set of values and would like to have an event to help strengthen the ties of the group. Examples might include religious groups, new moms, those identifying in the Autism spectrum, LGBTQUIA, elderly persons, for example. Cooking and food sharing is a wonderful collaborative opportunity to talk about shared experiences, troubleshoot problems, and build stronger support systems of friends and colleagues.
